Rockwell Catering and Events opened it’s doors in 2009. And in those 8 years, we had had the pleasure of catering in nearly every venue in Salt Lake County and Utah County. Besides the usual venues like NOAH’S Event Venue in South Jordan and the Provo Library at Academy Square, we had been to some really unique places for catering UT.
A few years ago, we had a client ask if we could do catering UT in Bryce Canyon. Without much thought to the logistics, we answered with an emphatic “YES!”. After that, the real work began trying to coordinate and organize to be able to put together a mobile kitchen. Once everything was worked out, we were able to pull off their event without a hitch, even if it was 3 hours away from our home kitchen.
Another unique place we got to go to for catering UT was Seven Peaks Water Park in Provo, UT. A local company asked if we could set up our buffet at the bottom of the waterslides. And as usual, we said “OF COURSE!”. So it was nice to enjoy the refreshing spray (or soak) as people came down the waterslides as we set up the buffet. It sure made for a memorable event catering UT.
During the Sundance Film Festival, we were asked to cater an event on Main Street in Park City. If you have ever been to Park City during the Sundance Film Festival, you know that parking can be possibly your very worst nightmare. Truly- try parallel parking a truck and trailer!
What about catering UT, but in Wyoming!? We have done that too. Apparently, there aren’t many caterers in Evanston, so they like to outsource to Utah! We have had the pleasure of catering many events in Evanston, even though our kitchen is in Murray, UT. Catering in Evanston is always an adventure.
If you are looking for a caterer for your unique venue, don’t hesitate to call us. We like the challenge and can’t wait to meet with you to discuss your ideas.
