Rockwell Catering and events was started by Ethan Ingram. Ethan grew up in Southern California working for his family’s catering business. From the early teenage years of doing dishes to earn extra cash to being mentored by Chef Michael Reyes in Los Angeles to managing front-of-the-house presentation, Ethan has seen the ins and outs of events and catering. With that kind of experience comes unparalleled assurance your event will go off without a hitch. Name the crisis and we have seen it. But guess what, our customers haven’t! We make sure that everything runs smoothly at your event. You will never be bothered by us. We just come in and get the job done and leave you to your guests and event.
Rockwell Catering and Events has catered all over Utah and even up into Wyoming. We do catering in Ogden and even as far down south as Bryce Canyon. We have gotten pretty good at preparing our food in such a way that it presents perfectly no matter where the event might be. Want to have a dream wedding down in Zion? No problem! We prepare food from scratch, which means when we say mashed potatoes, we mean hand-peeled russet potatoes, boiled in our giant kettle and mashed with fresh cream and butter. None of this dehydrated potato flake business. Just real mashed potatoes like you would see at your Thanksgiving table. What about gravy for those potatoes? We will never use powdered gravy and then just reconstitute it. We use the drippings from our pot roast and make a roux with flour and butter and then mix it with beef stock. The result is the most smooth, flavorful gravy you have ever had.
Does all this talk of food have your mouth watering? Well good, because we do free, customized tastings. That’s right, free AND customized. That means we want you to come to our kitchen (or we can come to you) and taste what our food is like. We like to say we put our money where your mouth is. We don’t charge for our tastings because we feel pretty certain you will be sold with just one bite. Many catering companies in Utah have a monthly catering tasting where they make several items from their menu and then charge their customers to come taste it. We feel that is too impersonal. We like to treat each event with care and appreciation, so it should start off with a customized tasting, right? Whatever menu you are looking it, we can create that meal for you and you can decide if it’s what you and your guests will enjoy.
